• A. Guest Mode (Casual Play): You may play all 28 arcade games anonymously without registering. In Guest Mode, we do not collect any personal data. Your game scores, high score records, CRT preferences, and background animation selections are stored strictly on your local device via browser localStorage.
• B. Registered Player Accounts (Competitive Mode): If you choose to create an account to compete on global leaderboards and track career XP, we collect:
  • Email Address: Used for account creation, secure login authentication, and password recovery.
  • Gamer Tag / Username: A unique public display handle chosen by you.
  • Encrypted Password Hash: Stored securely using industry-standard one-way cryptographic encryption. Plaintext passwords are never stored or accessible.
  • Gameplay & Score Records: Scores earned per game, session duration timestamps, weekly tournament standings, and accumulated career XP.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data solely to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your player profile.
• Calculate and display player rankings on weekly seasons and all-time global leaderboards.
• Enforce fair play anti-cheat protection and rate limit validation.
• Respond to support requests, password resets, and account inquiries.

3. Public Standings & Email Privacy

When you achieve a verified score while logged in, your Gamer Tag, Avatar emoji, and Game Score are displayed on the public leaderboards. Your email address is strictly private and is never exposed, published, or shared with other players.

4. Cloud Infrastructure & Security (Supabase)

User accounts, authentication credentials, and leaderboards are hosted on secure PostgreSQL cloud infrastructure powered by Supabase. All communications are protected by end-to-end HTTPS/TLS encryption and enforced with database Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.

5. Advertisements & Cookies

We display third-party advertisements via Adsterra (https://adsterra.com/) to fund ongoing server maintenance and development, keeping all 28 games 100% free.

6. Your Data Rights & Account Deletion

You have full control over your personal data. You may request account deletion, data correction, or full erasure of your score history at any time by contacting us at support@buncharcades.com. Upon verification, your account and associated records will be permanently removed.
